This remote features 4 buttons: Lock, Unlock, Starter, Panic, Trunk. This remote sends it's signals on a frequency of 315 Mhz. This remote will work for your vehicle if your vehicle is equipped with factory smart keyless entry.


Programming Procedure:

To match a new transmitter to your vehicle when you have a recognized transmitter (two recognized transmitters are required for Canadian owners):
1. The vehicle must be off.
2. Have the recognized transmitter and the new, unrecognized transmitter(s) with you (for Cadillac CTS 2010-2015 - place the recognized transmitter into the cupholder).
3. Insert the vehicle key into the key lock cylinder located on the outside of the driver’s door.
4. Turn the key to the unlock position five times within five seconds.
5. The Driver Information Center (DIC) will display READY FOR FOB X, where X can be 2, 3 or 4.
6. Place the new, unrecognized transmitter into the transmitter pocket with the transmitter buttons facing the front of the vehicle. The transmitter pocket is inside the center console storage area located between the driver and front passenger seats.
6.1. (Cadillac CTS 2015) Place the new transmitter into the transmitter pocket. The center console storage area will need to be opened and the rubber mat needs to be removed to access the transmitter pocket and press the ENGINE START/STOP button, the DIC will display that it is ready to program the next transmitter, remove the transmitter from the transmitter pocket and press LOCK or UNLOCK on the transmitter. Press and hold the ENGINE START/STOP button for approximately 12 seconds to exit programming mode.
7. Once the transmitter is programmed, a beep will sound. The DIC will display READY FOR X, where X can be 3 or 4, or MAX # FOBS LEARNED.
7.1. Press the ignition control knob to exit programming mode (Cadillac CTS 2008-2014).
8. Remove the transmitter from the transmitter pocket and press the unlock button on the keyless access transmitter two times.

Programming without a recognized transmitter:
The procedure will require three, ten minute cycles to complete the matching process. Do the following:
1. The vehicle must be off.
2. Place the new, unrecognized transmitter into the transmitter pocket with the transmitter buttons facing the front of the vehicle. The transmitter pocket is inside the center console storage area located between the driver and front passenger seats.
3. Insert the vehicle key into the key lock cylinder located on the driver’s door.
4. Turn the key to the unlock position five times within five seconds.
4.4. (Cadillac CTS 2015) Wait for 10 minutes until the DIC displays PRESS ENGINE START BUTTON TO LEARN and then press then ENGINE START/STOP button. Repeat two additional times. After the third time all previously known transmitters will no longer work with the vehicle. Place the new transmitter in the transmitter pocket. The center console storage area will need to be opened and the rubber mat needs to be removed to access the transmitter pocket. Press the ENGINE START/STOP button. when the transmitter is programmed the DIC displats that it is ready to program the next transmitter. Remove the transmitter from the transmitter pocket and press LOCK or UNLOCK on the transmitter. Press and hold the ENGINE START/STOP button for approximately 12 seconds to exit programming mode.
5. The DIC message will display "OFF/ACC TO LEARN" (Cadillac STS 2008-2011) or "Press Start Control To Learn Keys" (Cadillac CTS 2008-2014).
6. Press the Acc. button (ignition switch).
7. The DIC will read WAIT XX MINUTES and will count down to zero, one minute at a time.
8. The DIC will display OFF/ACC TO LEARN again.
9. Press the Acc. button (ignition switch) again.
10. The DIC will again read WAIT XX MINUTES and will count down to zero, one minute at a time.
11. The DIC will display "OFF/ACC TO LEARN" (Cadillac STS 2008-2011) or "Press Start Control To Learn Keys" (Cadillac CTS 2008) again.
12. Press the Acc. button (ignition switch) again.
13. The DIC will again read WAIT XX MINUTES and will count down to zero, one minute at a time.
14. A beep will sound and the DIC will read READY FOR FOB 1. At this time, all previously known transmitters have been erased.
15. Once the transmitter is recognized and programmed, a beep will sound and the DIC will display READY FOR FOB 2.
16. Remove the keyless access transmitter or press the ignition control knob (Cadillac CTS 2008-2014) and press the unlock button twice to initialize it.
If you have additional transmitters to program, this process can be repeated until four transmitters have been programmed. The DIC will then display MAX # FOBS LEARNED and will exit the programming mode.
When you are done programming transmitters, press the unlock button on each keyless access transmitter twice. After performing this process, transmitters previously programmed will no longer work with your vehicle and must be reprogrammed.

RETURN POLICY

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item within 30 days of delivery of your order. The following rules apply:

Products must be in the same condition we sent it in. If the condition isn't in the same condition that we sent to you, then the refund amount will be less due to our cost to restore or refurbish the item. If it's not possible to restore or refurbish then the refund would be the value we could sell it for in the condition it is now in minus 20%. If you place a "Special Order" with us then there would be a 40% restocking fee.

Shipping Fees are non-refundable.

All returns must be made by signing in, going to MY ACCOUNT, clicking order history, finding the order, click Return this item.There are few non-returnable products & services that may be offered on our website. It will indicate clearly in the product description if a different return policy applies.

Order cancellations can only be requested prior to shipment.

RETURN PROCEDURE

To return a product, you must first request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) that is located in the MY ACCOUNT section next to each order item that you want to return. Once you've selected the items to return and the reason, you will be given return instructions.

EXCHANGE PROCEDURE

There are 2 ways you can go about exchanging a product:

Option 1 (Slower) - Use the standard return procedure to request an RMA for the part you need exchanged. In your request please specify the exact item(s) you would like to exchange to. Upon receipt of your returned product we will process an exchange and ship the new part. If there is a difference in the price, you will be either refunded or charged the difference.

Option 2 (Faster) - Order the new part over the phone and request to include a prepaid label to send back the first purchase for refund.

DEFECTIVE, DAMAGED, OR INCORRECT PRODUCTS

We all know that accidents happen sometimes. If your product(s) will arrive defective, damaged, or simply incorrect, please contact our customer service department as soon as possible. Please do not attempt to use or install the part! We will send you a replacement part and provide you with a prepaid return label to return the defective part. Product(s) must be returned to us within 30 days. If the damage was caused by a shipping courier, we will schedule a damage pick up by the courier.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

When you request a cancellation of an order or a part it may take up to 24 business hours to process your cancellation claim. This process may involve voiding orders in computer systems, removing items from backorder logs, having operations personnel pull items from production schedules and sometimes stopping orders at the shipping dock. Also note that sometimes products ship more quickly than expected, so we recommend that you do not purchase alternative products until receiving final confirmation of your cancellation.

REFUNDS & CREDITS

After we accept your return, you will be issued a refund via the same payment method as you had originally used to place the order. The refund amount will be composed of the original purchase price minus shipping charges. You will be sent an email confirming receipt of the return and your credit. Please allow an additional 5-7 days for the credit to appear on your account.
