Description

Vehicles that use this remote are onboard programmable from 2007-2010.  However, vehicles from 2011 and newer are not onboard programmable.  This means an automotive locksmith is required to program the vehicle to accept the remote for 2011 and newer models.  If you are using it on 2007-2010 vehicles then you can use the included instructions to perform programming yourself which requires no tools or special knowledge.

Remote For GMC Buick Cadillac Chevrolet Pontiac Saturn Suzuki:

Remote was first made with the FCC ID OUC60270 and part number 15913420. GM soon discontinued that part number and superseded it with these: 15913420, 20952475, 20869056, and 22936099. The FCC ID rolled from OUC60270 to OUC60221. At the time this description is being written the current GM part number is 22936099.  All these part numbers are unimportant because there is nothing unique about them other than the number printed on the back of the case. They all contain the same circuit boards.

Programming Procedure:

  • For 2011-2017 Enclave, 2011-2013 Avalanche, 2011-2015 Captiva Sport, 2011-2015 Express, 2011-2013 Silverado, 2011-2017 Traverse, 2011-2016 Acadia, 2011-2015 Savana, 2011-2014 Sierra, 2008-2010 Vue, 2007 XL-7.
Please contact an automotive locksmith for key cutting and remote programming as these vehicles aren't onboard programmable.

  • For 2008-2010 Enclave, 2007-2010 Avalanche, 2007-2010 Silverado, 2009-2010 Traverse, 2007-2010 Acadia, 2007-2010 Outlook.

Insert the ignition key and turn to the ON position (position just before you crank the vehicle) so you can access the (DIC). This display allows you to match Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitters to your vehicle. To match an RKE transmitter to your vehicle:

1. Press the vehicle information button until PRESS TO RELEARN REMOTE KEY displays.
2. Press the set/reset button until REMOTE KEY LEARNING ACTIVE is displayed.
3. Press and hold the lock and unlock buttons on the first transmitter at the same time for about 15 seconds. On vehicles with memory recall seats, the first transmitter learned will match driver 1 and the second will match driver 2. A chime will sound indicating that the transmitter is matched.
4. To match additional transmitters at this time, repeat Step 3. Each vehicle can have a maximum of eight transmitters matched to it.
5. To exit the programming mode, you must cycle the key to LOCK/OFF.

  • For 2007-2010 Escalade, 2008-2010 Express, 2008-2010 Savana, 2007-2010 Sierra.

1. Make sure the vehicle is in PARK (P).
2. Press the vehicle information button until LEARN REMOTE KEY PRESS √ TO BEGGIN displays.
3. Press the set/reset button until REMOTE KEY LEARNING ACTIVE is displayed.
4. Press and hold the lock and unlock buttons on the first transmitter at the same for about 15 seconds. A chime will sound indicating that the transmitter is matched.
5. To match additional transmitters at this time, repeat Step 3. Each vehicle can have a maximum of four transmitters matched to it.
6. To exit the programming mode, must cycle the key to LOCK/OFF.

OVERVIEW

At RAK we make returns as easy as possible. Our mission is to provide you with the best products and the best service in the industry. We understand that sometimes, customers change their minds about products that they order or simply do not need them anymore. We also know that customers are cautious about Return Policies since they are often tricky and misleading. Our goal is to make the return or exchange process trustworthy and as simple as 1-2-3.

RETURN POLICY

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item within 30 days of delivery of your order. The following rules apply:

Products must be in the same condition we sent it in. If the condition isn't in the same condition that we sent to you, then the refund amount will be less due to our cost to restore or refurbish the item. If it's not possible to restore or refurbish then the refund would be the value we could sell it for in the condition it is now in minus 20%. If you place a "Special Order" with us then there would be a 40% restocking fee.

Shipping Fees are non-refundable.

All returns must be made by signing in, going to MY ACCOUNT, clicking order history, finding the order, click Return this item.There are few non-returnable products & services that may be offered on our website. It will indicate clearly in the product description if a different return policy applies.

Order cancellations can only be requested prior to shipment.

RETURN PROCEDURE

To return a product, you must first request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) that is located in the MY ACCOUNT section next to each order item that you want to return. Once you've selected the items to return and the reason, you will be given return instructions.

EXCHANGE PROCEDURE

There are 2 ways you can go about exchanging a product:

Option 1 (Slower) - Use the standard return procedure to request an RMA for the part you need exchanged. In your request please specify the exact item(s) you would like to exchange to. Upon receipt of your returned product we will process an exchange and ship the new part. If there is a difference in the price, you will be either refunded or charged the difference.

Option 2 (Faster) - Order the new part over the phone and request to include a prepaid label to send back the first purchase for refund.

DEFECTIVE, DAMAGED, OR INCORRECT PRODUCTS

We all know that accidents happen sometimes. If your product(s) will arrive defective, damaged, or simply incorrect, please contact our customer service department as soon as possible. Please do not attempt to use or install the part! We will send you a replacement part and provide you with a prepaid return label to return the defective part. Product(s) must be returned to us within 30 days. If the damage was caused by a shipping courier, we will schedule a damage pick up by the courier.

RISK OF LOSS

A tracking number is provided with every order you place. Once the carrier’s status shows the package has been delivered we are not responsible for replacement orders!

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

When you request a cancellation of an order or a part it may take up to 24 business hours to process your cancellation claim. This process may involve voiding orders in computer systems, removing items from backorder logs, having operations personnel pull items from production schedules and sometimes stopping orders at the shipping dock. Also note that sometimes products ship more quickly than expected, so we recommend that you do not purchase alternative products until receiving final confirmation of your cancellation.

REFUNDS & CREDITS

After we accept your return, you will be issued a refund via the same payment method as you had originally used to place the order. The refund amount will be composed of the original purchase price minus shipping charges. You will be sent an email confirming receipt of the return and your credit. Please allow an additional 5-7 days for the credit to appear on your account.

Bring your old key fob back to life.

Buy CR2032 Battery

To replace the battery:

  1. Insert a flat object with a thin edge into the notch on the side of the transmitter and separate the bottom half from the top half.
  2. Remove the old battery, but do not use a metal object to do this.
  3. Slide the new battery into the transmitter with the positive side of the battery facing down. Use a type CR2032 battery, or equivalent type. Make sure the cover is on tightly, so water will not get in.
  4. Snap the front and the back of the transmitter together.
  5. Test the operation of the transmitter with the vehicle.

Note: Replacement of the battery will not cause the remote transmitter to become deprogrammed from your vehicle. The remote transmitter should operate normally after battery replacement.

Teaching the truck was simple, but the instruction sheet that came with the remote was missing one critical word ... ""simultaneously"". Once the truck is ready to learn the new remote, press the Lock and Unlock buttons ""simultaneously"" until the truck chimes twice. The Avalanche owner's manual was clearer on the procedure.
