If there are two keys already working with the vehicle, this can be programmed with an easy to use customer programming procedure. This remote will work for your vehicle if your vehicle is equipped with factory keyless entry.

Remote For Ford Mercury:

Factory Remote with FCC ID CWTWB1U511. With Ford part number XF2T-15K601-AA, 3F2T-15K601-AA and 3F2Z-15K601-AA. This remote sends it's signals on a frequency of 315Mhz. This remote has 5 buttons, tested and guaranteed to work.

Programming Procedure:

1. Insert the keys in the ignition and turn the ignition switch from OFF to RUN, up to
eight times within ten seconds, ending in OFF. When the vehicle has successfully
entered programming mode, it will lock and then unlock all door locks
(Note: The RUN position is as far as you can turn the key without cranking the engine. If the door
locks do not cycle indicating programming mode has been entered, try the procedure without
doing step 1 and having the driver door closed. If you still can’t get into programming mode after
trying this numerous times both ways then you either do not have the factory keyless entry system
or it is not functioning properly. In many vehicles you should end in the RUN position and not the
OFF position. If you have anti-theft deterrent then before doing this step you should open the
driver door and cycle the power door locks twice. This means you press LOCK, UNLOCK, LOCK,
UNLOCK. Step ones says to turn from OFF to RUN up to eight times. If the locks cycle before eight
times then move onto step 2 immediately. Do not continue cycling the ignition switch.)
2. Within 15 seconds, press ANY button on a keyless entry remote transmitter. The
doors will lock and then unlock to confirm that each keyless entry remote
transmitter has been activated.
(Note: When the first keyless entry remote transmitter is programmed, all existing keyless entry
remote transmitters are erased.)
3. Repeat step 2 immediately for each transmitter that will operate the vehicle
including your old ones (if any.)
4. If the door locks do not respond for any keyless entry remote transmitter, wait 10
seconds and press the button again.
5. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position or wait up to 30 seconds after step 2,
to exit program mode. If a keyless entry remote transmitter has been activated, the
vehicle may lock and unlock all doors one last time to confirm.

All returns must be made by signing in, going to MY ACCOUNT, clicking order history, finding the order, click Return this item.There are few non-returnable products & services that may be offered on our website. It will indicate clearly in the product description if a different return policy applies.

Order cancellations can only be requested prior to shipment.


To return a product, you must first request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) that is located in the MY ACCOUNT section next to each order item that you want to return. Once you've selected the items to return and the reason, you will be given return instructions.


There are 2 ways you can go about exchanging a product:

Option 1 (Slower) - Use the standard return procedure to request an RMA for the part you need exchanged. In your request please specify the exact item(s) you would like to exchange to. Upon receipt of your returned product we will process an exchange and ship the new part. If there is a difference in the price, you will be either refunded or charged the difference.

Option 2 (Faster) - Order the new part over the phone and request to include a prepaid label to send back the first purchase for refund.


We all know that accidents happen sometimes. If your product(s) will arrive defective, damaged, or simply incorrect, please contact our customer service department as soon as possible. Please do not attempt to use or install the part! We will send you a replacement part and provide you with a prepaid return label to return the defective part. Product(s) must be returned to us within 30 days. If the damage was caused by a shipping courier, we will schedule a damage pick up by the courier.


A tracking number is provided with every order you place. Once the carrier’s status shows the package has been delivered we are not responsible for replacement orders!


When you request a cancellation of an order or a part it may take up to 24 business hours to process your cancellation claim. This process may involve voiding orders in computer systems, removing items from backorder logs, having operations personnel pull items from production schedules and sometimes stopping orders at the shipping dock. Also note that sometimes products ship more quickly than expected, so we recommend that you do not purchase alternative products until receiving final confirmation of your cancellation.


After we accept your return, you will be issued a refund via the same payment method as you had originally used to place the order. The refund amount will be composed of the original purchase price minus shipping charges. You will be sent an email confirming receipt of the return and your credit. Please allow an additional 5-7 days for the credit to appear on your account.

To replace the battery:

  1. Twist a thin coin between the two halves of the remote entry transmitter near the key ring. DO NOT TAKE THE RUBBER COVER AND CIRCUIT BOARD OFF THE FRONT HOUSING OF THE REMOTE ENTRY TRANSMITTER.
  2. Do not wipe off any grease on the battery terminals on the back surface of the circuit board.
  3. Remove the old battery. Note: Please refer to local regulations when disposing of transmitter batteries.
  4. Insert the new battery. Refer to the diagram inside the remote entry transmitter for the correct orientation of the battery. Press the battery down to ensure that the battery is fully seated in the battery housing cavity.
  5. Snap the two halves back together

Note: Replacement of the battery will not cause the remote transmitter to become deprogrammed from your vehicle. The remote transmitter should operate normally after battery replacement.
