Remote For GMC Cadillac Chevrolet Oldsmobile:

GM originally made this remote with a bunch of different logos, each having it's own part number but all interchangeable with each other. GM quickly discontinued the logo remotes and replaced it with a non-logo remote to replace them all. The FCC IDs were ABO0103T or ABO0104T. The newest GM part number is 15725423. The superceded part numbers were: 15692636, 15955515, 15955516, 25609144, 25555951, 15692336, 10239647, 25559364, 25609144, 15657587, 15955702, and 15731442.

Programming Procedure:

  • For 1991-1993 Deville, 1992 Fleetwood:

1. Locate the Data Link Connector underneath the driver side dashboard. Use the diagram to identify the pins.
2. Ground pin G of the DLC. The receiver will respond by locking and unlocking the doors within 2 seconds.
3. Press any button on the first remote to be programmed. The door locks will cycle again.
4. Repeat step 3 for an additional remote (if any). The door locks will cycle again.
5. Remove the ground applied to pin G.

  • For 1995-1996 Astro, 1996 Blazer, 1995 Camaro, 1995-1996 Chevrolet Suburban, 1995-1996 Tahoe, 1996 Jimmy, GMC Suburban 1995-1996, 1995-1996 Safari, 1996 Bravada, 1995-1996 Yukon:

IMPORTANT: Before entering programming mode, have in possession all of the transmitters you will be using on the vehicle. Once you program the transmitter, all previous codes will be erased from the memory. The other transmitters will not be functional until you program the transmitters again.

1. Insert keys in ignition and leave in OFF position.
2. Locate the Data Line Connector (DLC) underneath the driver?? side dashboard. Use the figures below as a map for your DLC (they usually aren?? numbered) based on how your DLC is positioned. The view in the picture below is looking straight into the cavities of the DLC. Notice how the DLC is tapered on both ends: we will be working on the wider row of cavities (1 through 8 in the figure below).
3. Make sure there are metal contact pins in terminals 8 and 4 and connect the Data Line Connector (DLC) terminal 8 to terminal 4 with a suitable jumper wire (leave the jumper wire connected throughout the programming procedure). Make sure you know which terminals are 8 and 4. The vehicle will respond by cycling the locks (locking then unlocking doors) to signify entering of programming mode.
4. Press and hold both the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons together on the first transmitter to be programmed. After about 30 seconds, the vehicle will respond by cycling the locks (locking then unlocking doors). Release the buttons on the transmitter.
5. Within one minute, repeat step 4 on the remaining transmitters to be programmed.
6. Remove the jumper wire applied to the DLC (disconnect terminals 8 and 4).
7. Test transmitter(s) for function.

  • For 1995 Blazer, 1995 Jimmy, 1995 Typhoon, 1995 Bravada:

1. Locate the programming connector under the driver side dash near the Remote Keyless Entry module. You will need to remove the lower driver side dash trim to access the connector. It is a RED connector with two wires and may be taped to the wiring harness that ultimately leads up to the keyless entry module.
2. Short the reprogramming connector terminals together with a suitable jumper wire. Receiver will respond by locking and unlocking the door locks within 2 seconds.
3. Press any button of the first transmitter to be programmed. The control module will respon by locking/unlocking doors activating rear window release.

1. Locate the Data Link Connector (DLC) underneath the driver's side dashboard.
2. Ground pin G of the Data Link Connector (DLC) with suitable electrical wire. Receiver will respond by looking and unlocking doors within 2 seconds.
3. Press any button of the first transmitter to be programmed. The control module will respond by locksing/unlocking doors and activating rear window release.
4. Press any button of the second transmitter to be programmed (if used). The control module will respon by locking/unlocking doors and activating the rear window release.
5. Remove the ground applied to pin G of the Data Link Connector (DLC).

The door lock assemblies and rear compartment lid lock assembly or end gate window solenoids will cycle once confirming that transmitter code is programmed. Any transmitter code that was previously programmed has been erased. Receiver assembly is now programmed to the transmitter assembly.
