Description

If you have one remote that is working on the vehicle currently, then you can add more yourself.  Programming instructions are included with the remote and we have free tech support if needed.  If you do not have one working remote then you'll need a local automotive locksmith to program the vehicle to accept new remotes.


Remote For Chrysler Dodge:

Factory Keyless Entry Remote for 00 Chrysler PT Cruiser, 99-05 Dodge Neon, 00-01 Plymouth Neon models equipped with factory keyless entry.  The remote's FCC ID is GQ43VT9T.  The original part number was 04759008AB but it has been superceded by 04759008AC, 04759008AD, 04759008AE and 04759008AF.


Programming Procedure:

  • For 1999-2000 Neon, 2000 Plymouth Neon.

1. Press [LOCK] button 5 times at 2 second intervals to resynchronize transmitter.
2. Turn ignition to the run position (Allow ignition chimes to stop).
3. Using original transmitter, press and hold the [UNLOCK] button on the transmitter for between 4 and 10 seconds.
4. Continue to hold the [UNLOCK] button and press the [PANIC] button. A chime will sound to indicate that the transmitter programming mode has been entered (Allow 3 seconds for chime to sound).
5. Press a button on all transmitters to be programmed into the system including any previously programmed transmitters; a chime will sound when each transmitter has been programmed.
6. Turn the ignition to OFF position to exit the transmitter programming mode.


  • For 2001 Plymouth Neon.

1. You need an existing remote to add remotes. Reprogram all remotes or existing remotes will lose their programming.
2. Switch the ignition to ON.
3. Using a programmed remote press and hold UNLOCK for up to 10 seconds.
4. After holding for 4 seconds, press Panic and then release both buttons at the same time.
5. Hear a chime to confirm you have entered programming mode.
6. Press any button on every remote you are programming. Make sure you hear a chime for each remote. You can program up to 4 remotes.
7. Turn OFF ignition switch.


The following vehicles can use this remote when equipped with the factory keyless entry system:

Dodge Neon (1999-2005), Plymouth Neon (2000-2001).

RETURN POLICY

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item within 30 days of delivery of your order. The following rules apply:

Products must be in the same condition we sent it in.

Shipping Fees are non-refundable.

All returns must be made by signing in, going to MY ACCOUNT, clicking order history, finding the order, click Return this item.There are few non-returnable products & services that may be offered on our website. It will indicate clearly in the product description if a different return policy applies.

Order cancellations can only be requested prior to shipment.

RETURN PROCEDURE

To return a product, you must first request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) that is located in the MY ACCOUNT section next to each order item that you want to return. Once you've selected the items to return and the reason, you will be given return instructions.

EXCHANGE PROCEDURE

There are 2 ways you can go about exchanging a product:

Option 1 (Slower) - Use the standard return procedure to request an RMA for the part you need exchanged. In your request please specify the exact item(s) you would like to exchange to. Upon receipt of your returned product we will process an exchange and ship the new part. If there is a difference in the price, you will be either refunded or charged the difference.

Option 2 (Faster) - Order the new part over the phone and request to include a prepaid label to send back the first purchase for refund.

DEFECTIVE, DAMAGED, OR INCORRECT PRODUCTS

We all know that accidents happen sometimes. If your product(s) will arrive defective, damaged, or simply incorrect, please contact our customer service department as soon as possible. Please do not attempt to use or install the part! We will send you a replacement part and provide you with a prepaid return label to return the defective part. Product(s) must be returned to us within 30 days. If the damage was caused by a shipping courier, we will schedule a damage pick up by the courier.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

When you request a cancellation of an order or a part it may take up to 24 business hours to process your cancellation claim. This process may involve voiding orders in computer systems, removing items from backorder logs, having operations personnel pull items from production schedules and sometimes stopping orders at the shipping dock. Also note that sometimes products ship more quickly than expected, so we recommend that you do not purchase alternative products until receiving final confirmation of your cancellation.

REFUNDS & CREDITS

After we accept your return, you will be issued a refund via the same payment method as you had originally used to place the order. The refund amount will be composed of the original purchase price minus shipping charges. You will be sent an email confirming receipt of the return and your credit. Please allow an additional 5-7 days for the credit to appear on your account.

To replace the battery:

  1. With the transmitter buttons facing down, use a thin coin or similar object to pry the two halves of the transmitter apart. Make sure not to damage the rubber gasket during removal.
  2. Remove and replace the batteries. Avoid touching the new batteries with your fingers. Skin oils may cause battery deterioration. If you touch a battery, clean it with rubbing alcohol.
  3. To reassemble the transmitter case, snap two halves together. Make sure there is an even gap between the two halves. Test transmitter operation.

Note: Replacement of the battery will not cause the remote transmitter to become deprogrammed from your vehicle. The remote transmitter should operate normally after battery replacement.
